27 - Wander Around with 'Igby Goes Down'

What can we say? We here at Movies You May Have Missed really like J.D. Salinger. So much so, that this film's blatant homage to Catcher in the Rye kinda gave us the warm fuzzies.

Igby Goes Down features an incredible cast (with some really unexpected break out performances), great city cinemetography, and a charming story of a wandering youth.

Don't be fake! Check it out:

I barely remember hearing about this movie. Think back then, I thought it was a comedy. What ever the reason I wasn't pulled to watch it, I am now. Does sound truly interesting. To see Claire Daines and Jeff Goldblum in roles that stretch their acting potential, instead of type cast, is intriguing. Thank you for another movie I must see :)

    Hey Dangershoes!
I was very surprised by it. I've been a big fan of Goldblum's work, and I really wasn't expecting this from him.
You're more than welcome. I hope you like it!
