Undoubtedly, Back to the Future (1985) series.

there's so many of them, though Pulp Fiction (1994) will take some beating. if course Memento (2000) deserves an honourable mention. but what about Groundhog Day (1993), bill Murray at his 3rd finest (behind Ghostbusters & Zombieland cameo)

umm. butterfly effect (2004). i'm kidding. time bandits (1981) is my total fave time flick and blew my mind when i saw it as a kid. also, twelve monkeys (1995) i adore.

Might as well be the first to say Back to the Future (1985) :) Cheesy I know. Though Time After Time (1979) was also good, but didn't play much with time as just jumped time... guess I wasn't the first... Must recalibrate the flux compacitor

the Killing (1956). multiple PoV of same event which messes w/ linear time/regular chronology.

I'm going to go with Sleeper (1973).

I don't know if this counts, but Donnie Darko (2001) (hands down).

Rules of Attraction (2002) does some great things with time, it's constantly changing things up.

My favorite is Groundhog Day.

Does Frequency (2000) count?

I like Sliding Doors (1998). I can't think of how many times I've been running late and wondered what would have happened if only I'd been five minutes earlier.

Memento (2000), though more about working backwards, no real deadlines or anything.

My favorite was the Philadelphia Experiment (1984). It's awesome for a big ship like that to just disappear. I also like all of the Back To the Future (1985) shows. I really thought Michael J Fox was great.

Memento (2000), probably. Donnie Darko (2001) is a great one too though. Dark City is also good.

Frequency (2000) was awesome! :)

For me the most original was Momento (2000). I love how the every scene was the previous one. It play with the sense of time with out making up a time travel story. Genius!

Time Bandits (1981)!

Betrayal (1983). If you knew from the beginning how an affair would end...

Donnie Darko (2001) is great. But I loved Bill and Teds' excellent adventure (1989) as well. :p

(Avoiding BTTF cause that's obviously #1) I dig on Memento (2000) and Following (1998), Fight Club (1999) plays with time to an extent so that's up there, and much maligned but I really did enjoy The Butterfly Effect (2004). OHHH FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR (1986)!!!!!
Michael F via Facebook
All the better ones have been taken already, and some of the not-that-good ones (Butterfly Effect (2004)). But Watchmen (2009). Like in everything else, the time jumps and pace of the movie is not as good as the comic, but it is some of the best time-play on screen. But what surprises me is that nobody mentioned Groundhog Day (1993) [on Facebook]. Uncultured lot, all of you.

I liked Butterfly Effect (2004)

Gotta go back a ways & say Somewhere in Time (1980). I might also second 12 Monkeys (1995) & FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR (1986).
Heather H via Facebook
I'd say Memento (2000) for originality (backwards), Pulp Fiction (2004) for story effect (highlights each section as its own story) and The Prestige (2006) for directing dexterity (flash backs, different narrators, different "sources" of story).

I vote for Blind Chance (1987) by Krzysztof Kieslowski. (Not going to apologize for more subtitles!) Like "Run, Lola, Run", we get three times through the same timeline, but Kieslowski is lot more cerebral (and not at all kinetic). BC may be one of my favorite Kieslowski films.

Southland Tales (2006) played with time and sequence....but i wouldn't expect anything less from Richard Kelly...

Well, Yvonne, I have to agree with you. I love Sliding Doors (1998). The concept is so interesting to think about.

Playing literally with time, Groundhog Day or Primer. Chronologically, Memento.
The navigator (1988) is my favorite. Loved it as a kid. Not Flight Of The Navigator by the way. Re-watched that one recently, not as good as when I was a kid.
