Movie Shout Outs - Best Anagram from a Movie Title?
Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 4:00AM It's Outhouse Vomits Response Time!...Woops, I mean Movie Shout Outs Response Time.
What is the best anagram you can come up with from a Movie title?
Your responses were hilarious! Check them out below:
Zombieland -> Z-Mob Denial?
This is really difficult.

Difficult one. I found http://wordsmith.org/anagram/ quite helpful.
The best one I could find was:
Inglorious basterds -- A Builder's Groin Toss...which reminded me of the under appreciated sitcom Duckman.

Wow... Start off with title: Let the Right One In
Then came up with a silly one, but then started from that. ended up with: Thirteenth Legion

The sequel to ALIENS = SALINE. Run with it Mr. Zombie. Oops, I'd better not give him any ideas.

Anytime I think of anagrams i think of the Simpsons episode where Lisa is intimidated by the new smarter girl. "Alec Guinness, Genuine Class."

2001: A Space Odyssey / 2001: Easy Spacy Dose.

I tried a few but my favorite is Leaving Las Vegas -- Vaginal Saves Legs. I think there's a good lesson learned with this one.

I have to admit that I also used Wordsmith.org. I'm not great at Anagrams. My favorite was for Pulp Fiction: Licit Fun Pop. I pronounce it "Lick it Fun Pop." :) Made me giggle.

So let's face it. I'm just not that clever when it comes to word play. When Marie and Dutch came up with this week's question, I kinda facepalmed a lil bit because I've always SUCKED at word jumbles. So instead of subjecting you to my lame attempts at movie title anagrams, I'm just going to share some of my fave finds.
'The Truman Show' = The Worst Human
'Solaris' = Air Loss
'Scream' = Scar Me
and most appropriately:
'Striptease' = A Tits Spree
And as a proud of me moment (with a little help from Wordsmith.org):
'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure' = Debacle Devil & Tunneller's Text
(Even using the apostrophe and ampersand!)
