Movie Shout Out Break....Or is it?
Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 4:00AM We're taking a break from the official Movie Shout Out this week to prepare for our first Movie Watch-Along (THE HURT LOCKER - tonight, Saturday, 7PM PST) and we hope that you all can particpate either on Google Wave or Twitter.
But considering what is going on this weekend, we thought we'd throw out a question just for fun (and for those who cannot join us for the Watch-Along).

I just want to recommend a movie that I had never even heard of until I saw it on Netflix. It is called "Miracle Mile". Netflix calls it dark and suspenseful. I actually found it to be campy and quite entertaining. This movie reminds me a little of "Night of the Comet" (another one you might consider) "Miracle Mile" was made in 1989. The cast includes Anthony Edwards, Mare Winningham and John Agar of all people. It was directed by Steve De Jarnatt. If you are into Sci-Fi and the end of the world themes then this movie is worth a look.
