Movie Shout Outs - What Film Destroyed Your Favorite Car?

It's Sunday, so that means it's Movie Shout Out Response Time.

This week's question was:

What Film Destroyed Your Favorite Car?

This was clearly a painful subject for you, since only a few people responded...That or the fact that it's Memorial Day weekend.  Check out the responses below:

I've gotta go with The World is Not Enough...they cut a BMW Z8 literally IN HALF lengthwise with a buzzsaw helicopter. Not only is that the most beautiful car BMW has ever made IMHO, but the cars HADN'T EVEN BEEN RELEASED YET...evidently, the people at the BMW factory were horrified when they found out what the film crew was going to do to their brand new, unreleased $128k masterpiece.

The GT500 Shelby in the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds made me sad. Thankfully the cars destroyed weren't real. It still hurt though.

Not a film.  Jeff Fahey blows up the Ferrari Daytona in the TV series Miami Vice.

Well the Jag in Harold & Maude is tough, any time a SAAB gets jacked up I cry a little, and I've always had a hard time with the Dolorean getting offed in BttF3, but I think the hardest one for me to take is watching Burt Reynolds drop a Maserati off a dock in The Longest Yard... Such a pretty car...

It's an obvious one, but when the Ferrari gets wrecked in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. That kind of kills me.

It was so rocking knowing that they destroyed a car, the one that is so expensive. I am hoping that if they do the same thing, they would still be able to make those cars productive.
