Movie Shout Outs - Favorite Comic Book Adaptation? -Responses!

Good Sunday Morning! It's Movie Shout Out Response Time!

Yesterday's question was:

Which film is your favorite comic book adaptation?

Your answers showed Marie that more movies came from comic books than she originally thought.  Juan knew...

Check out your responses below:

I'm not sure if you with "adaptation" mean comic book based movies with real actors, or if animated movies based on comic books count? Anywho, my favorite is Akira (1988) which belongs to the latter group of comic book adaptations.
And while... at it: The worst is Annie... :)

Iron Man if only because it came at a time every other super hero franchise went 'dark' and this was pure, unadulterated fun.

If American Splendor counts, I'll say American Splendor. American Splendor.

Well, The Shadow isn't a comic book, but it has that same feel. I love all the period details, the snap of wit and the amazing cast.

'78 Superman. Totally.

Kick-Ass or Sin City. Both are extremely faithful and awesomely gory.

Hey Rochelle!
It's a testament to how well that movie was made that I keep forgetting it was a graphic novel, an Alan Moore graphic novel at that...
