You were dead on about "Dead Snow"! Well worth watching after they get the looooonnnngggg setup out of the way. Really loved when Basil Exposition showed up to explain the entire plot - priceless! (funny stuff during the zombie blitzkrieg too ;-)
Yep Dead Snow was a great movie once you got past the slow start and the heroes got their inner Ash Williams on. If you liked that movie you may want to see Brain Dead or Dead Alive (as you Americans call it). One of Peter Jackson's first movies and asks of zombies what any geek would ask of a cool new thing. Will it blend. :)
Friggen LOVE Dead Alive. It's so bizarrely gross. I giggled with glee while playing an arcade style zombie shooter called Burn Zombie Burn, where one of the weapons you can use is a lawn mower to "blend up" the zombies. Good times...
